Terms of Service

TevScribe joins your online meetings (e.g. Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) as a bot at your request, records the meeting audio, and generates a transcript and an AI-generated summary, key points, decisions, and action items. Features may include Google Calendar auto-join, email delivery of summaries to attendees, and delivery of summaries to Slack.

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding recording, transcribing, and processing conversations, including obtaining any consent required from meeting participants before you invite a TevScribe bot into a meeting. Recording-consent requirements vary by jurisdiction (for example, some require the consent of only one party while others require consent from everyone on the call) and by the policies of the meeting platform you use. TevScribe is a tool that acts on your instructions — we do not verify that you have obtained the necessary consent, and you agree not to use the Service to record any meeting without the legally required consent of its participants.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to record, transcribe, or share a meeting without the consent required by law or by the meeting platform’s own terms;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of others;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive automated use; or
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our prior written consent.

If you connect Google Calendar and enable auto-join, you authorize TevScribe to read your calendar events on a read-only basis and to automatically dispatch a bot to meetings detected on your calendar. You are responsible for reviewing which meetings are eligible for auto-join and for disabling the feature for any meeting where you have not obtained the required participant consent.

Transcripts, summaries, speaker attributions, decisions, and action items are generated automatically using third-party AI models and speech recognition. They may contain errors, omissions, or misattributions and are provided for convenience only. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on it, sharing it, or using it to make decisions, and TevScribe is not a substitute for an official record of a meeting.

Where applicable, use of the Service is billed based on metered usage (recorded meeting duration), rounded and rated according to the plan associated with your account. Fees are invoiced or charged as agreed with you at signup. Failure to pay amounts due may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

TevScribe and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, models, and branding. As between you and TevScribe, you retain ownership of your meeting recordings, transcripts, and summaries (“Your Content”). You grant TevScribe a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Recall.ai (meeting bot infrastructure), Google (sign-in, Calendar, and the Gemini API), Resend (email delivery), and Slack (optional summary delivery). Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms of the meeting platform you use to hold the meeting (e.g. Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams). We are not responsible for the availability or acts of these third parties.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, including the recording-consent requirements in Section 3. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEVSCRIBE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TEVSCRIBE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING.

You agree to indemnify and hold TevScribe harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your failure to obtain any consent required to record or process a meeting under Section 3.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Armenia.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
